You are playing in the final of the World Chess Championship. The winner gets a million pounds. The loser gets nothing. You are White and you've lost most of your pieces. In fact all you have left apart from your King is just one Knight. Your opponent still has all his pieces and certainly deserves to win. It's your move, though, and you have two choice. You could move your Knight to g3, when your opponent will be forced to CHECKMATE you by taking the Knight with his Queen. Or you could move your Knight to f2, which, as it happens, is checkmate and will give you a very lucky win. Which move will you play? |
